SYDNEY FASHION WEEK ILLUSTRATIONS - RESORT 2019
Sydney Fashion Week has a soft spot in my heart. Way back in my very first year at University ( I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design) I took my first ever solo trip and headed to Sydney for a week to Volunteer at Fashion Week. It was an eye opening, whirlwind peek behind the curtain of the Aussie Fashion World. So every year I get transported straight back to that time in my life and remember the passion I had for fashion design.
This years resort collections inspired me to try and a new style of sketching, and once I started I fell down a bit of an illustration rabbit hole! The below pieces are a mix of watercolour, Ink pen and coloured markers (you can see a process video of this technique on my Instagram feed)
